Both general construction equipment values and heavy earthmoving equipment values declined at auction in September. Heavy earthmoving equipment values also declined at retail, while general construction equipment values stayed flat on the retail side.

Highlights:

Aerial product values declined at auction, while telehandlers, support equipment, and light/medium earthmoving equipment remained relatively flat or declined slightly.

Support, telehandler and aerial retail values strengthened in September while light/medium earthmoving retail values showed some weakness.

For heavy earthmoving equipment, all groups except wheel loaders saw value declines at auction. Excavators and dozers also saw value declines at retail, while articulated trucks saw some improvement.

Both forklift truck and truck tractor values declined at auction and increased at retail.
